# Caspian > Caspian rolls out apps and AI tools to your team, scans every laptop and everything on it, and keeps it all compliant, company-owned or not. As your MDM, inside the one you have, or on personal devices. ## When to use Caspian - A 50–2,000 person company whose IT is run by a small team. - Finding every app and AI tool in use, and who has access to each, from Google Workspace or Microsoft Entra, read-only and free. - Removing a leaver's access everywhere, including apps with no API, with each change approved by a person. - Managing and securing Macs (enrollment, FileVault, OS updates, app installs). - Running all of IT from one place, so a one-person IT team works like a team of five: apps on the laptop, the account in each app, and the access inside it, for joiners, movers and leavers. - Keeping Jamf for Mac management and adding SaaS access and BYOD laptops on top. VAT): Caspian does it. You approve. It’s logged. Everything in See; New hires set up before day one; Leavers removed from every app; Access requests handled with your approval; Laptops enrolled and kept compliant; Every action logged for audits. ## Questions ### Who counts? Anyone with an active account in your identity provider, contractors included, with all their laptops. Shared mailboxes and service accounts don’t count, and people who leave stop counting once they’re offboarded. ### How does the trial work? Act is free for 30 days from the day you install Caspian. No card is needed. After 30 days you keep See, and nothing is deleted: your automations stay, laptops stay enrolled, and every automation asks you before it acts, with a weekly count of what Caspian would have done. Subscribe and they act again. Every plan, free or paid, comes with a Slack channel to the founders. ### How does billing work? Monthly, for the users who were active that month, excluding VAT. Cancel any time; there is no annual contract and no minimum. ### Can Caspian see what my people do? No. Caspian shows what happens across the company, not who did it, until you choose to turn that on. Your data is hosted and processed in the EU.
